January 2006. This mess hurts. This is the original speedo and the miles are accurate 89.2k miles original. There is also a lot of paper work to deal with re-registering it as 'mileage unknown.' So to keep this speedo, I'm going to have to get the overspray off the glass *and* the black retaining ring. Hardened goo around the speedo was the original adhesive to seal the edges from cold air. UPDATE: Discovered that this speedo was missing a gasket, and due to the damage via paint, I'm having a new speedo restored by a specialist to replace this one with. Ugh.
